Doolin is one of the most famous towns in the world for listening to good traditional Irish music and you couldn’t get a better selection of musicians than in Gus O’Connor’s Pub, there’s something marvelously atmospheric about this place.

Patrick and the staff welcome you to one of the most famous pubs in Ireland. The pub is located in the heart of the picturesque village of Doolin, set amongst the rolling hills of West Clare, a stone’s throw from the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin Pier with cruises to the Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher and at the edge of the National Geopark Burren Region.

It opens at 9:00am each morning for breakfast, Lunch starts at 12pm and food is served all day, with last orders being taken at 9:30pm. We are open for food 363 days a year!

Music sessions kick off around 9pm until late each evening from the end of February to the end of November and there is an early Sunday session at 6.00pm weekly all year round. Gus O’ Connors is part of the Miko Russell Traditional Music Festival held yearly at the last weekend of February and we hold a number of our own music festivals during the course of the year, including the Sean No’s Dancing and music festival being held on the October Bank Holiday.
